Pop band Scouting For Girls have revealed how hard they had to work on the follow up to their successful debut album. The band confirmed that they had to get their act together after their label said that the songs they had previously recorded simply weren’t strong enough for general release. The band admitted that they found working almost 16 hours a day on perfecting the album tough going and often couldn’t tell if they were making something that was genuinely good or if they were going down the wrong path altogether.
Scouting For Girls had a very successful debut album selling lots of copies around the UK and releasing hit singles, She’s So Lovely and Elvis Ain’t Dead. The band are due to release their next single called This Ain’t A Love Song in March of 2010. The album will follow shortly after.
Scouting For Girls haven’t enjoyed the critical acclaim to go along with their commercial success. They have consistently suffered from comics who have mocked them for their boring songs and also for selling their music to appear in adverts. Despite the lack of critical praise they have secured a number of top 10 hits since their inception and their album looks to carry on the success from their debut.

True Blood is one of the latest television shows in America that has caught people’s attention and showing promising future. The show is based on Charlaine Harris’s novel series “The Southern Vampire Mysteries” in which the life of Vampires has taken a new turn to make them part of society.
Without any doubts, true blood is having a great fan following not only because of the script but also due to the excellent music. The music of true blood is unbeatable. Another reason for this great fan following is the acting by the lead characters. Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse is incredible. Stephen Moyer as ‘Vampire Bill’ is great as well, he has been very realistic and he is the perfect person for this character without any doubts.
One thing which made me surprise was, the play is very similar to the book and even the locations used seems to be the same I had in my mind while reading the book. As story is progressing, I am expecting some great reviews for the story. At one stage, I felt that the level of performance has gone down, but they maintained the level of reality in the show.
I am a lover of True Blood and will be following the series as it develops. Essentially great stories, emphatic acting, strong cast, brilliant direction, awesome soundtracks and best of all the show has its own identity in a sea of pretenders.

Horoscopes can be very entertaining to those of us who don’t take them seriously, but not very informative. One can imagine someone sitting at a keyboard, “making it up”. Just listen to Weird Al’s song “Your
Horoscope for Today”, if you need a skeptic’s view on horoscopes. Serious practitioners see horoscopes and astrology as a science, however. The practice of astrology goes back thousands of years, and has been practiced all over the world.
Astrology and horoscopes were practiced by the ancient Greeks. Astrology, which means “science of the stars”, basically, entails the belief that the position of the sun and planets has a direct effect on an individual’s life and future.
As early as 3000 B.C., the Chaldeans in Babylon practiced astrology. Later, citizens of China became interested. The Chinese may be the first people to realize the effect the position of the sun has on seasons and planting cycles.
In 500 B.C., Plato extensively studied and used astrology. The science was also popular among the Egyptians. Astrology lost its popularity when Galileo Galilei began using a telescope during the 1500s. In the 1600s, when Christianity became popular, the practice of astrology was hidden. Astrologer William Lilly renamed the science “Christian Astrology” in an effort to make the practice more acceptable. In the 1800s, astrologer Alan Lee boosted the practice as well. Paul Clancy followed, with his instrumental magazine “American Astrology”.
Notable people in modern times also utilize astrology and horoscopes. After the assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan in 1981, Nancy Reagan had an astrologer assist in determining when to do public appearances and sign important documents.
A horoscope or birth chart is used in astrology to determine aspects of an individual’s life or future events. It depends on which of the twelve signs of the zodiac you were born under (each sign corresponds to a constellation).

Most people think a horoscope is the little four-line piece of advice based on your birthday that you find in the newspaper. The chat at the Water Cooler is bubbling to boiling point this week, what with all that’s been in the news recently. There’s the sadness of Jade Goody and Natasha Richardson’s untimely decease. Both women were hailed as Princess Di’s (by Stephen Fry no less who referred to the former, as a Princess D from the wrong side of the tracks), both who had somehow, after death, taken on the status of national treasures. I’m wondering if ten years down the line, Goody would be loved as she is now, a woman who faced adversity with the courage and determination of a top class boxing pro. It’s those whom both women have left behind that I feel for. It was painful to see Liam Neason’s gaunt looking face and withdrawn, hollow look after such a tragedy that was so devastating. Goody’s family are of course equally distraught. The piles of flowers outside the Goody home were reminiscent of the ones swamping London during the nation’s mourning for the Princess. It’s strange how death turns people into martyrs and legends. No one ever says anything nasty about the dead. That’s how it should be I suppose. The ancient Romans held a high respect for the dead. We should follow their lead.

Lieutenant D’Raka would appreciate my assistance in gathering
some items from the Sinking Sands before Qeynosian agents can
get to them. She’ll have to pass on word of my ability to her
superiors if I’m successful.
I need to look for information and items for the Buccaneers
before the Qeynosians get to them.
You will do so in one of the following ways:
I need to find a number of Anaz’Mal relics scattered in the
sands of the northern Tear of Anuk. I need to hunt down the
Sandscrawler thieves and search them for goblin scratchings that
will indicate their plans. The Alliance would like to study some
of the skulls from the Sul’Dal infiltrators, I’ll need to make
sure I get those skulls first. I need to gather some of the
decaying cobra fangs. The Qeynosians are no doubt looking to
gather the poisons for their own foul use. I need to return the
items I found to Lieutenant D’Raka in South Freeport. I have
returned to Lieutenant D’Raka with the items before the
Qeynosians could get to them.
