Anyone could have anticipated, though, that given his family tree he was certain to rise to prominence. Traceable back into ancient history and in fact Bredimus’ family tree has associations with multiple countries within Europe. On his mother’s side, on the one hand, he hails from Scottish and German bloodlines. Luxembourg and England are the home of Bredimus’ father’s family, although the family emigrated during the 1800s. Having arrived in the United States of America, the line still strove to rise to the top. Growing up one of seven siblings - three boys and four girls - Nicholas had a father working as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who earned her living as a nurse. Nicholas went on to make his home in the Lone Star State for several years and also spent time in Scottsdale, AZ, Kansas City, MO and Reston, VA.

He’s worked in prominent jobs with firms across the air travel sector - most of them acclaimed names. Mr Bredimus ascended to the position of VP with firms like Trans World Airlines (TWA), Republic Airlines, and Hughes Airwest. A hard working software programmer, Nicholas’ creative approach to airline software is probably his trailblazing gift to the industry. He is most famous for a particular project, namely his airplane maintenance management applications which are now used by most air carrier companies. He would next examine recording and taking reservations. For both hotels and air travel he developed programs to offload most of the work necessary until that point. Expanding into an alternate category, he developed a networked system to assist in ticket sales - something that hadn’t been done before. Mr Nicholas Bredimus parlayed these achievements into posts not tied to software design. In his own company - Bredimus Systems - as a Division Manager with American Express, and as the inaugural president of AMR Travel Services his record speaks for itself.

At the time of writing, however, Nicholas Bredimus has withdrawn from Northwest Airlines and from programming, although he’s still making best use of his abilities. You can find his work now mastering building design - mixing the requirements of comfort with authentic concern for the environment. All of which goes to illustrate how much indefatigable spirit can actually achieve.
