True Blood is one of the latest television shows in America that has caught people’s attention and showing promising future. The show is based on Charlaine Harris’s novel series “The Southern Vampire Mysteries” in which the life of Vampires has taken a new turn to make them part of society.
Without any doubts, true blood is having a great fan following not only because of the script but also due to the excellent music. The music of true blood is unbeatable. Another reason for this great fan following is the acting by the lead characters. Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse is incredible. Stephen Moyer as ‘Vampire Bill’ is great as well, he has been very realistic and he is the perfect person for this character without any doubts.
One thing which made me surprise was, the play is very similar to the book and even the locations used seems to be the same I had in my mind while reading the book. As story is progressing, I am expecting some great reviews for the story. At one stage, I felt that the level of performance has gone down, but they maintained the level of reality in the show.
I am a lover of True Blood and will be following the series as it develops. Essentially great stories, emphatic acting, strong cast, brilliant direction, awesome soundtracks and best of all the show has its own identity in a sea of pretenders.
