After 7 years of fishing from my float tube and having suffered a serious back injury, I had to look at other options, as fishing from my tube was an impossible task. A friend of mine suggested I come out and try his pontoon boat, after 20 minutes I realized this was something I had to have. After 2 months of looking around at all types and styles of pontoon boats I finally bought one. There are generally four different types of pontoon boats available and each pontoon boat has its advantages and disadvantages, before running out to your favorite fishing store and getting the first pontoon boat you see you will need to give some thought to exactly what type of fly fishing you will be doing and what type of water you will be using it on. Another good thing to consider is how far from your vehicle you have to haul your pontoon boat before you can set it into the water, as some of them can be quite heavy. Most pontoon boats today are available in a powder coated steel or aluminum frame, with the aluminum frame being the most popular due to its weight.
One Person Pontoon Boat - The options that are available on this style of boat are almost endless and they have a weight capacity of between 250 and 400 pounds (including your body weight and all your gear), I would tend to stay away from the lower weight capacity boats as you become limited to the amount you can carry. The optional motor mount is a must have and I would also recommend the aluminum frame (6 to 10 pounds lighter than the steel frame models), if the lakes and rivers you fish require you to carry the boat over a long distance. The higher end boats also have an option for a standing platform for easier casting and are available in steel or aluminum frames. Setting up this style of boat is a simple task and can be done in less than 15 minutes. The biggest advantage is this boats ability to float in less than 5 inches of water.
2 Person Pontoon Boat - Designed to carry 2 fishermen, this type of pontoon boat can be a real chore to assemble, also due to the size and weight you don’t want to haul this boat very far from your vehicle in order to set it on the water. The options on a 2-man boat are numerous; dual casting platforms, aluminum frame, motor mount (front and back), and the different array of storage compartments is almost unbelievable. The biggest disadvantage to this style of boat is the size, weight and amount of space required to haul it.
The Packable Pontoon Boat - This style of pontoon boat is an excellent choice if you like to get away from the crowds and walk into a more secluded lake, setting one of these boats up is about as easy as it can get. This style of boat because of its lightweight feature is not available with as many options as the standard single person boat. The single biggest advantage to this boat is its weight and the ability to pack it into your favorite spot. The biggest disadvantage is the lack of available options.
Kick Boat - A kick boat although not much of an upgrade from a float tube, will keep you warmer as only your legs are in the water, making it more pleasant to fish late into the fall season. The advantages of a kick boat are that they are lightweight, packable and will fit into the trunk of smaller vehicles. The disadvantage is that they can be extremely physically tiring to fin around the lake for a full day of fishing.
I have recently upgraded from my float tube into a Trout Unlimited pontoon boat, and after fishing from a pontoon boat I am sure I will never go back to a float tube again. As you sit above the water, fishing late into the season is not a problem due to cold water, casting is also much easier and moving around the lake is less tiring. My boat also has the optional motor mount and battery tray (picked up an electric motor for it on Saturday). I am looking forward to trying this out as soon as the ice is off the water.
Good luck and tight lines.

If you haven’t taken a look at the tasteful supportive lingerie
lately, you are truly missing out. Intimate support is a secret
treasure that women have cherished for hundreds of years, and
today is no different.
The evolution of lingerie is here. More and more top designers
are now using the best materials available to make their
intimates.
The Hour Glass
Years ago, supportive undergarments were designed to make the
body look like the famous hour glass shape. Corsets and bustier took a
team of assistants to help put it on. To keep the shape, actual
bones were inserted into the garment. Strings were used to
tighten and tie, allowing the shape to maintain its figure for
hours upon hours.
The fashion was designed by a French Queen, who wanted all the
women in the court to have a shapely figure. What the Queen
wants, the Queen gets. The style didn’t change for quite some
time, and it is still important to have the curvy hour glass
figure.
Overnight Sensation
Things changed. With the introduction of new fabrics like nylon,
polyester, and spandex, the supportive lingerie world changed
almost overnight. The synthetic materials had the elastic
support that made strings and bones obsolete.
The benefits of the new fabrics were embraced by women around
the world. Not only could the garment be worn without help, they
were much more inexpensive that the styles of years past.
Today’s Undergarments
Exciting new fabrics continue to be developed and perfected.
What becomes of them are the very best intimates the world has
ever seen. They are lightweight, comfortable, and supportive.
Bras, bustier, and corsets are staples of women all over the
world. They appreciate the support, but the undergarments are
also created with a fashion conscious appeal. They are sexy,
revealing, and sensual. Getting the most out of today’s hottest
lingerie lays in the eyes of the beholder.
Even the most inexpensive intimates are soft to the touch and
pleasing to the eye. They provide results in support and in the
bedroom.
Shopping for intimates has also changed. Through the marketing
power of the internet, women are able to find all the top
designers’ wonderful intimates. They are purchased online and
more women are enjoying the benefits. There are no trips to the
store, and no worries. Just sexy
intimate apparel for day or evening wear.

Gone are the days when borrowing money was considered as a taboo or a thing to be ashamed of. Taking up a loan has become the part and parcel of our daily life, largely to keep pace with today’s highly expensive world. Out of the many loan options Secured Loans is one of the most popular and widely used options. And, the reasons behind it are:
The approval process is simple and fast.
The lenders are more than willing to offer Secured Loans.
The interest rate offered is comparatively lower than unsecured loans.
It helps you to make use of the equity in your property, which would have otherwise remained inactive in your property.
It is often offered with more favourable terms than other types of loans.
It gives you the freedom to use the loan amount as you please.
Secured Loans can be used for reasons which could be any, such as, debt consolidation, home improvements, holidays, buying expensive assets et al.
A Secured Loan is a type of loan which is backed by assets in order to decrease the risk assumed by the lender. A Secured Loan requests a security in the form of any particular asset that’s worth money against the loan. Generally speaking Secured Loan demands your home as security. In a Secured Loan, when you put your personal property against the loan, you guarantee repayment to the lender.
The interest rates on Secured Loans are lower than the rates on unsecured loans. A Secured Loan will be the best possible solution for you when you are in need of large amount of funds. However like any other type of loan Secured Loans also have its own share of pitfalls. The major one being, if you fail to make the necessary repayments, your assets may be repossessed by the lender. Therefore, it is advisable for you weigh out all the pros and cons before considering a Secured Loan as there are number of long term consequences to defaulting on a loan.

If you want to make big profits, then you should know that the best way is do it for yourself - and not rely on others.
Any trader (even a novice) can build a successful FOREX trading system - and this article shows you how to build a profitable system in five simple steps.
What Makes a Successful FOREX Trading System?
Successful trading systems have three main characteristics:
1. They are Simple
Forget complicated systems with lots of rules - it’s a proven fact that simple systems work better - and are less likely to fail, in the brutal world of trading.
2. They Run Profits and Cut Losses
You need to have a longer term FOREX trading system that milks the big trends for profit, and cuts losses quickly.
3. They Follow Long Term Trends
There is no point in trading for small profits - i.e. day trading, as you will never cover your inevitable loses with small profits.
Focus on long-term trends - it’s these that yield the big profits, as they can last for years.
Now let’s get down to the five steps of building a FOREX Trading System:
1. Your Method
We have said to keep it simple, and this is exactly what you should do - just a few rules, and a robust money management system.
2. Spotting Opportunities
Look for the long-term weekly trends, and then move to daily charts to time entry. When we say long-term trends, we mean months, or years - NOT just a week or two.
3. The Best Way to Trade Currencies is via a Breakout Method.
Breakouts occur in all currency markets all the time - so base your system on a trend following breakout system.
There isn’t space here to describe exactly what a breakout system is, but we have articles on breakouts posted on our web site.
It’s a fact that most of the world’s billionaire traders use breakout systems in their trading - and you should use a breakout system as well.
4. Timing Entry
The best way to time an entry is to watch for a break on the chart, confirmed by stochastics crossing with bullish or bearish divergence - this is a great timing tool.
When you are in strongly trending markets, you can also use Bollinger bands, to time your entries - and take profits.
The Bollinger band is a great filter indicator, and all traders should consider it.
5. Money Management
If you are following a breakout method, either the trade runs quickly in your favor - or the break is “false” and quickly reverses.
Don’t put your stop just below the breakout point! - If the trade does not follow through within the day, exit the market, and use a monetary stop in the day session.
A Simple F0REX Trading System for Profit
With the above system, you will focus on the longer-term trends - and milk them for maximum profit.
You will also not trade frequently, and you will liquidate losers quickly.
We don’t have space here to go through how to use the indicators, but with a bit of research and testing you will see why a FOREX trading system built on the above principles, will work, and will continue to work.
The system will give you a lot more profit than the so called predictive, over hyped complicated systems, sold by vendors and guru’s - these systems only work in back testing.
Build yourself a FOREX trading system - and see for yourself, just how profitable they can be!

I get some of my best ideas for my column from my clients.
One idea that really seems to work for one of my clients is having a daily success program. What’s a daily success program? It’s simply a daily routine designed to create a successful, well-lived day, and a successful well-lived life as a result. More than a daily schedule or day planner, a daily success program is designed to help you create a compelling day, keep you on track with your goals, wake up each day excited to begin the day, and go to bed at night feeling like you have had a day well-lived.
I realize that’s a fairly bold statement, but read on to see if, and how, it could work for you.
What do most people think of when they first wake up in the morning? Usually something like, “Is it Saturday yet?” or “How many times can I hit the snooze button and still be to work on time?”
Not a great way to start the day.
I wonder what would happen if you awoke each day and asked yourself questions like:
What’s great about today?
What am I grateful for today?
What am I looking forward to today?
What can I contribute today?
What small steps can I take today that will have a lasting positive effect in my life?
If nothing else, it breaks the pattern of waking up like a grouchy grizzly bear.
After a positive start to the day, how do you keep your momentum going?
Answer: Think small!
What’s that you say, how do you achieve anything thinking small? Because that is the only sure way to achieve any lasting long term change.
Here’s what I mean: Most people set out thinking big, try to do too much at once, can’t do it all, get frustrated, and then give up. Sound like anyone you know? Perhaps like the person who stared back at you in the mirror this morning?
The Power of Persistence and Thinking Small
In the battle between the rock and the river, the river always wins. Not because it is stronger than the rock, but because it takes persistent small actions.
By taking small actions each day, momentous change can take place.
So here is another tool to add to your daily success program: pick a small action to take each day to improve your life. If you just do 1% better each day, you will build incredible momentum, and become virtually unstoppable.
But what if I don’t know what to do? First off, as I tell my 2 kids, stop whining! Now that I have got your attention, it’s crucial to get it that you do not have to know what to do before you get going. Try different strategies, if they work, keep doing them. If they don’t, keep trying other strategies.
Remember this
success comes from good judgement
good judgement comes from experience
experience comes from bad judgement.
One of the quickest ways to be successful is to get a lot of experience. Sure, you may blow it every so often, but that’s just another lesson in what not to do.
Another tool to add to your daily success program is what I call “the must do’s” and “the must not do’s.” What are three things, unique to your own situation, that you must avoid each day? What are three things that you must do each day? Once you get into the habit of thinking this way, it becomes a success habit.
At the end of your successful day, it can be helpful to reflect back on what you have noticed and learned that day. Ask questions such as:
What did I learn today?
What did I contribute today?
How can I improve on today?
How can I make tomorrow even better?
If you practice and install these four simple routines:
wake up questions
small actions
“the musts”, and
day-ending questions,
you will notice an almost immediate difference in your attitude, your energy, and your results. So what are you waiting for, get going and get growing!

The LA Times ran a story on March 4th on the bust of the Shanghai, China, real estate market. In one of the world’s hottest housing markets, the last three years saw a doubling of prices. Things are now so bad now that thousands of real estate offices have closed, many homeowners have loan amounts that are greater than their properties resale value, recent buyers are fighting with developers to rescind their purchases, and banks are awaiting a wave of mortgage defaults.
Morgan Stanley’s chief Asia economist said “Shanghai’s housing slump is only going to worsen and imperil a significant part of the Chinese economy”. About the property now under construction, this same economist said “They’ll remain empty for years!”
The similarities to our hot US bubble markets, makes me believe this is preview of what we are already starting to experience (though at a much slower pace).
The first signs of trouble in our real estate markets were very subtle and only picked up, or acknowledged, by very few real estate professionals. Since mid 2005 the red flags have been quite obvious to even the layperson. Yet, the forever optimistic ‘it’s always a good time to buy’ industry line is embraced by the mass media (they certainly do not want to lose their immense source of real estate advertising revenue) and the naive general public.
In San Diego in particular and most other major metropolitan real estate markets, it’s quite acceptable to acknowledge and embrace the double digit real estate appreciation of the past. Yet, even the thought of depreciation of real estate is looked on with the same disbelief and distain as if a child molester moved in next door.
There is a proven saying in our stock market: “You can never go broke taking a profit.” In many US markets, seasoned investors can still turn a profit. However, if Shanghai’s real estate market is any indication of what awaits the hot US markets…..the window of opportunity is closing very fast!

Chapter 13 Bankruptcy
Chapter 13 bankruptcy allows individuals to restructure their
debt, finances and assets in a fashionable manner in order to
compensate their creditors, and pay off their debts. The
individual will propose to pay the creditors over a period of
time (usually 3-5 years). During this period of time the
creditors can’t collect on any previously incurred debt without
the permission of the bankruptcy court. The individual is then
able to keep their property and the creditors will end up with
less money than they are owed.
Chapter 13 has a few advantages over Chapter 7. One of the most
immediate advantages is the ability to stop foreclosure. In
addition you can sometimes prevent collection against co-signers
during the life of the case.
One of the major disadvantages of Chapter 13 bankruptcy is that
the record stays on the individual’s credit report for ten
years. In order to achieve a new line of credit the individual
must first get permission from the Chapter 13 Trustee. It also
presents the problem where creditors might not want to loan
money to an individual of this nature.
Legal consultation is often necessary in order to effectively
oversee your Chapter 13 bankruptcy case. Professional bankruptcy
attorneys can provide you with the experience and dedication
required to take complete advantage of the situation and make
sure you are not over-paying your creditors.

Pssst…Wanna know a secret?
How about the secrets of grinding out a profit?
The term “grinding” means making a small amount of money on a consistent basis. Many dealers look at grinders with derision because they make bets and then take them down after each one hits, which means constant work for the poor dealers. These dealers can spot a grinder right away because they never press bets and are satisfied with one small profit on each shooter. But can you really make a consistent profit with grinding?
Let’s find out!
One way to grind out profits is to bet don’t-come and make a corresponding place bet on the same number. If you have a $10 don’t-come that goes to the six or eight, you can place the same number for $6. If the seven rolls (which is favored) you’ll win $10 (and lose $6), but if the six rolls you’ll only lose $3 instead of $10.
If the point is four or ten, you can place either number for $5 to balance out your $10 don’t-come. If the seven rolls now you’ll win $5 ($10 - $5), but if the four/ten rolls you only lose $1 ($9 - $10) instead of $10.
Finally, with a five or nine point, you can also place either number for $5 to balance out your $10 don’t come. If the seven rolls you’ll win $5 ($10 -$5), but if the 5/9 rolls you only lose $3 ($7 - $10) instead of $10.
If you bet at a higher level, you can make bets that will win if either the point or the seven rolls. For example, if you have a $25 don’t-come that goes to the six or eight, you can place either number for $24. If the seven rolls you win $25 and lose $24, giving you a $1 profit. And, if the 6/8 rolls, you win $28 and lose $25, which still gives you a profit of $3.
You can use the same $25 don’t-come on a 5/9 point, and place either number for $20. If the seven rolls you win $25 and lose $20, giving you $5. If the 5/9 rolls, you win $28 and lose $25, which gives you a $3 profit.
Finally, with a $25 don’t-come on a 4/10 point, you can place either number for $15. If the seven rolls you win $25 and lose $15, giving you a $10 profit. If the 4/10 roll, you win $27 and lose $25, which still puts you $2 ahead.
Of course, the main disadvantage to all of these don’t bets is that you’re vulnerable to the seven or eleven while you’re in the don’t-come box. You can protect this don’t-come bet in a number of ways. The most common is by laying the four and/or ten and then removing them when the bet is placed. See my articles on don’t betting for other methods of protecting your don’t-come bet.
Some people do not like “grinding” as they say it is a boring method of playing and does not provide enough monetary reward. But it is a way to make a nice, consistent profit, as well as gather up a lot of good comps, which could even be worth more than your winnings! Give it a try the next time you play!
Pssst…! Now you know the secrets of grinding out a profit!
